Leslie Rowe-Israelson has been experimenting and creating in glass for the past 25 years. She has enjoyed teaching and sharing techniques in kiln casting since 2001 at international schools such as Pilcuck Glass School and Corning Museum of Glass. Leslie has embarked on a new journey in glass, to challenge her creative side, through research and development. Being the recipient of two major project grants from the Canadian government and the Glass Art Assoc. of Canada has allowed her to go down a new path with her casting in new and innovative directions, emerging from the constraints of her mould material to paint with glass.
